Jurassic World is directed by Colin Trevorrow and it features Bryce Dallas Howard Chris Pratt BD Wong Nick Robinson Tyson Kings Vincent D'Onofrio and it is all about the Jurassic world the new Jurassic Park you know sort of area on the same island did we find out later in the movie but it's a new
Jurassic Park except it's called Jurassic world then it has been made many many years after the events of Jurassic Park the same sort of deals going on scientists are making dinosaurs where you created them putting them into the pod for attractions for families bliss pucks actually opens so there's a wide crowd and public going into it when two kids go on a family vacation with the two of them to meet
their aunt Claire played by Bryce Dallas Howard on the island for the weekend things start to go wrong where a new genetically engineered hybrid dinosaur known as the indominus rex breaks loose out of its enclosure they don't know what it's capable of nor does it so, therefore, it starts rampaging and causing chaos across stressful worland now Chris Platt playing Owen and Bryce Dallas Howard
as Claire need to put a stop to it without things getting too out of hand now i rewatch this movie last night leading up to Jurassic world fallen Kingdom which is about a week away from its release here in Australia well a week and a half about being exact but the thing is I don't know how I feel about the next movie and this movie proves that to me because I own the blu-ray as you guys might see but
there's no real reason as to why I own the Blair besides it's fun to watch with friends to make fun of it because it has really dumb and stupid or just to watch it with family to have a good time and that's exactly what I did last night I decided to sit down then watch this movie with my family my mom and my sister cuz this is my sister's favorite Jurassic movie and there's nothing wrong with that I don't
mind that I think it's a perfectly enjoyable watch but there are just so many glaring issues going on with this movie that just cannot be overlooked first of all I'm gonna talk about the positives of this movie Chris Pratt is absolutely fantastic in this maybe he's fantastic in most everything ever since I saw him a star-lord and guide to the galaxy I fell in love I've felon in love I've fallen in love with his
acting ability and what he can pull off on screen and this may be is no exception him as Owen who is pretty much a you know Razer of for Raptors Charlie Delta Bravo I think they called him anyway and blue for Raptors he's raised and the thing is it does lead to some certain logic that he does provide in the movie and it really works especially with the relationship between him and the Raptors and
what eventually happens with the indominus rex Chris Pratt's character was the most flesh dynamic interesting and fun character in the entire movie Bryce Dallas Howard although her character is pretty much an exaggerated cartoony version of her she still pulls off a great performance in this movie Bryce tell us how it looks good as always she always has this sort of charisma with Chris Pratt i
this movie that really works on screen with some great chemistry what makes it work is not necessarily that you know much about them because really you don't the most you know about them - as people and their interactions recently is that they wouldn't update once he tournament board shorts you pull like a paper or something - like sign where for a data or relationship sort of thing but most of
the time their on-screen chemistry does this characters and people work it's fun to watch them on screen especially with that banter Nick Robertson and Tyson Khun's they play the two young boys in this city and they really do gray in the singing ty Simpkins is best known for his performance in I am n3 and then now Rick Nick Robinson has been out there and is actually done performance in the
LGBT community in you know to love Simon and I love to mean that maybe and I love these two actors in this may be as well the thing is what movie this movie works from especially is the acting ability of all the actors because this movie is cheesy it's dumb but the acting ability of all these people just really sell everything in this movie almost also the cinematography in this movie when it' just wide
lung shots of the big landscape and it's establishing the environment of every single location on this island or just in general over the ocean and all that every single establishing shot looks lived in and it feels real and the ending fight between the indominus rex the t-rex and the Glasser raptors is one of the best action scenes that we have got in any dinosaur or Jurassic movie, in general, it is exhilarating
it's fun it's exciting Sally does not much more to this movie than those few things this movie really does falter a lot from how it is structured this movie has this really wonky structure or from the kids too I went in clad to the military to Vincent d'Onofrio's character I'm gonna get to him in a minute back to the control room and just a rinse and repeat sort of structure back to the dinosaurs people and
the military going there getting killed by the dinosaurs just it doesn't work it feels so choppy and all over the place and Kyle reminds me of the opening to Row 1 a Star Wars story why don't I compare the rogue bomb purely for the reason that rogue wanna star story was one of the sloppiest openings of any movie I've ever seen going from location to location location location in such a short amount of
time this movie does the exact same thing except throughout his entire runtime and in the end, it just becomes jarring granted they did almost the exact same thing in Jurassic Park but that's because there weren't as many areas to go off to you and any confrontation with any dinosaur was only when it came to the characters interacting with them so it wasn't even bearing off to the dinosaurs going anywhere
either also this movie has an overabundance of CGI there was a difference between Jurassic Park and the lost watch Jurassic Park and then Jurassic Park during that lost well Jurassic I mean sorry Jurassic world the thing is about these movies and their comparisons to each other being different and more believable is that the first two Jurassic park's had a lot of practicality in them and the thing is about
those movies is that they feel real and lived into to the minimalistic amount of CGI and when CGI is implemented in those two movies it's only with wide long shots or like extended frames or wide shots as I said previously the things about Jurassic Park 3 is that there were some animatronics but it was using fraud distances where sometimes you even saw the mechanics of it but also due to the fact that it
just didn't look real due to what they had to try and pull off I understand a had a very troll you know production but that's no excuse to me and then there's also the overabundance of wide frame seed I mean close frame CGI in Jurassic Park 3 as well I could not tell a single moment of practicality in this maybe this movie fails more than Jurassic Park 3 in the way of its visual effects purely for the
reason tha Jurassic Park 3 at least attempted to have practicality in them I could not pick a single this may be where I've been a practical dinosaur or when they did have a practical die so it just was CGI over there for the dinosaurs and the interactions between the characters and wood can they get eaten well they not it just didn't feel real it felt so fake especially because the visual effects welcome to see
where the CGI is really bad like sometimes a color grading and the lighting on the dinosaur to the background is so different from the full grinds of the background is pretty much what I mean the shadows don't line up the textures are underdone it doesn't feel finished a lot of the time it looks like a cartoon there's also the overabundance of attempts at comedy and I just don't worry because there are
so many moments in this movie that should be serious but the thing is all of a sudden hey look we're just gonna throw a quickie line of dialogue at you and it's meant to be funny but it doesn't work and Jake Johnson in this movie he's a comedic actor he's coming up in a movie called tag which I'm actually kind of excited for but the thing is he's a comedic actor and what he does comedy in the city
it's semi-works he's the only guy in this movie that when Kali is utilized it works but that's because he's a comedic actor he knows how to give his lines properly but even then with him it's the writing of this maybe there's a lot of writing in this movie that is just overdone and cheesy especially with Vincent d'Onofrio's character Vincent D'Onofrio in this movie is literally foghorn leghorn cartoon
the level he is so cartoony sort of and it just doesn't work Benton D'Onofrio and this character is so Tom I know that I like Vincent D'Onofrio he can be a good actor except in this movie it just doesn't work in the end Jurassic well is a disappointing maybe it's an over-the-top cheesy movie the very cheesy script very cheesy line and it's just very poorly structured the CGI in this movie just doesn't work and
it doesn't feel lived in within the visual effects it doesn't feel real therefore there's no anticipation there's no suspense or tension whenever a captor is having an interaction with a big dinosaur it's the dumbest thing when they realize what the indominus rex really is like no spoilers guys but like it is just some of the dynast thinking ever cuz it looks like it sounds like it it looks like it it's obviously
that thing but no one realized it yeah I'm gonna give the Jurassic world a seed bus guys if you have you'll enjoy my review for the Jurassic world I am going to be doing my first review for predator very very soon I do have feelings of this V if you do pursue this video thumbs up I looking for Jurassic waffling king of I'm kind of just yeah I'm not particularly I'm just in the middle I'm optimistic
